Chris Mun, DDS

Hi there! My name is Chris Mun and I was born and raised right up the road in the suburbs of Dallas, Tx. I graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch-Houston in 2011. My wife (girlfriend at the time) and I moved straight to Denver, Co where we spent a wonderful two years. When we got married in May, we knew it was time to move back to Texas and plant some roots close to our families.

Dania Turcios Mun, DDS

Dr. T grew up in South Texas and met her husband, Dr. Mun, when they were both in dental school. She graduated from the University of Texas- Dental Branch Houston in 2011. Her travels have taken her from Texas to Denver, Colorado and back to Texas again. Her and her husband have planted their roots here in Pflugerville and are so happy to call it home. You can catch her at the office on Fridays! Her and her husband love to travel, spend time with their family and beautiful dog, Ernie.



Lyndsey Wang, DDS

Dr. Wang was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She earned her undergraduate degree from University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with a Bachelor of the Arts. She decided on a change in scenery, so she attended dental school in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California. Following graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. During her time as a resident, she gained valuable experiences in both the medical and dental environment. She utilizes these experiences to strengthen her knowledge…

 

Judy Adan, DDS

Dr. Judy Adan was born and raised in New Jersey. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Rutgers University and graduated dental school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in 2013. She completed a General Practice Residency at Hackensack UMC Mountainside Hospital in 2014. She has settled in Texas for three years now and is enjoying every minute of it. When she’s not in the office providing gentle care, education, and compassion, Dr. Adan enjoys hiking, bowling, singing karaoke, and spending time with family and friends.


Steven Hansen, DDS- Board Certified Endodontist

Dr. Hansen is a native of southern California, receiving his Bachelor’s degree from U.C.L.A. in 1976. He attended U.S.C. Dental School on a full scholarship from the Air Force, receiving his D.D.S. in 1980. After practicing general dentistry for the Air Force for 11 years, Dr. Hansen received his Certificate of Endodontic training from Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio, in 1991. In his remaining time with the Air Force, he taught endodontics in an advanced training program for general dentists, and ultimately became Chairman of the Endodontic Dept. at Wilford Hall Medical Center, the Air Force’s premier medical and dental training center. He also held the positions of Program Director for the graduate Endodontic Residency program, Special Consultant to the Surgeon General in Endodontics, and a clinical asst Professor faculty position at the Univ. of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After retirement from the Air Force, Dr. Hansen was in private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area for five years, serving on the board of directors of the Alameda Dental Society. Since moving to Austin in 2007, Dr. Hansen has been practicing clinical endodontics full time. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Endodontics.

Makai Rosa, RDH – Clinical Lead

I love to travel and experience views from around the world. What I’ve found is that life is best enjoyed when you are surrounded by people you enjoy, and work in an environment that you are proud to be a part of. Helping patients feel comfortable is the most important part of my job and is my goal everyday. The smallest things can make the biggest difference and that is where change begins.



Victoria Brock, RDH

Victoria is one of our dental hygienists and joined the PFD family in 2016. She is passionate about oral health and building relationships with patients to communicate the importance of good oral habits. She is proud to be part of a dental team that shares the same vision. She finds it to be an exciting challenge to provide individualized treatment to every patient in the most comfortable way possible.When Victoria is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their three beautiful children. Needless to say, they keep her pretty busy!

 

Hannah Guo, RDH

Hannah has been with Pflugerville Family Dentistry since 2014. She likes to perform her job with artistic vision. “Your teeth are not mine, but I can take care of them and make your smile brighter!” You can find Hannah on Wednesdays through Fridays to take care of all your hygiene needs!



Megan McDermid, RDH

I was born and raised in Wisconsin (yep, I am a Packer fan), but have lived in Texas for almost 7 years. I love to travel and hike. I even have a bucket list goal to hike all 59 National Parks! I love being a dental hygienist! I am passionate about my patient’s health. I strive to empower and educate patient’s on the best ways they can care for their teeth!

 

Jessica Young, RDH

Jessica is a native Texan who loves to spend her free time with her husband Justin and are about to welcome a baby boy to their family. Jess and her husband love to DYI and are currently working on renovating their house.

Jess started out as a dental assistant working for two different Endodontists over 5 years. She now loves being a Dental Hygienist and is excited about providing compassionate care as well as emphasizing the importance of patient education.

Maria Cruz, RDA- Lead Clinical Assistant

Hello my name is Maria, I was born in Mexico but have been living here in Austin/Pflugerville for 20 years. I have three kids: Ivan, Mateo, and Gricel. One of many things I like to do is dancing, but what I love the most is seeing my kids happy every time I take them to Bastrop to my parents house where they have lots of farm animals. Helping change someone’s smile one day at a time is what makes me love so much the career I have chosen. Don’t forget to say hi to me next time your at Pflugerville Family Dentistry!

 

Pilar Gonzalez, RDA- Lead Orthodontic Assistant

Pilar Gonzalez was born in Austin,Tx. She has been an Orthodontic and general assistant for 5 years. She loves Ortho because she loves the confidence it gives people and truly changes their lives. In her free time she enjoys going to lakes and beaches with her husband and their two boys.

 

Sierra Santoyo, RDA

Sierra Santoyo was raised in the tiny town of Farmersville Texas, but has lived in the Austin area for the past 9 years. She received her RDA licence in 2016 and has loved being in the dental field. She believes in the power of a healthy smile and the confidence it can give to each and every patient. While shes not working she loves spending time with her husband, and she cannot wait to meet her new baby girl that will be here in May of 2020!

 

Jocelyn Garza, RDA

Hi everyone, my name is Jocelyn! I’ve been blessed with this amazing office and I couldn’t be any luckier! I was born and raised here in Texas and I’m not going anywhere! One thing I love about my job is making sure people walk out feeling confident and pleased with their smile! Something interesting about me is I have a twin brother!

Toni Cuevas, RDA-  Office Manager

Toni was raised in Round Rock, Texas.  She has always had a passion for dentistry.   After receiving her RDA in 2010,  she now has over 8 1/2  years of experience in the dental field.  Toni has accomplished everything from assisting with the doctor chair side to being the Office Manager of a private practice.  Currently,  she is the Front Office Lead and also Treatment Coordinator for PFD. Toni has two wonderful children;  Gabriella and Elijah.  Her hobbies include, dancing, singing and baking. But her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family and friends.   The best part of her career is seeing her patients smile with confidence

 

Amber Collins, RDA – Treatment Coordinator

Amber was born and raised in Round Rock, Texas. She has always had a passion for dentistry and patient care. She has been in the dental field for over 4 years with her RDA and is currently in school to advance her career in the industry as a dental hygienist. Amber is currently the Treatment Coordinator for Pflugerville Family Dentistry and is always looking for ways to lead the practice in successful growth and top-notch patient care. Amber has two wonderful sons, Matthew and Axton with her fiancé, Paul. Amber’s hobbies include; dancing and finding adventures with her family and the family dog, Callie. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with her family and friends. The best part of her career is being able to take part in giving patients the confidence of a healthy and happy smile.

 

Brenda Garcia, RDA – Marketing Coordinator/Treatment Coordinator

Brenda has been a registered dental assistant since 2010. She enjoys working at Pflugerville Family Dentistry because she loves working in a fun, friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. Although she is an RDA, she mainly specializes in accounts receivable, marketing, and treatment coordinating. Brenda enjoys helping patients change their perception of dentistry and restoring smiles inspires her everyday. If you ever have any questions Brenda is here to help answer any and all of your questions.

In her free time, Brenda enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and most importantly, spending time with her boyfriend, son and their fur child Ava!

 

Kara Barfield – Hygiene Coordinator

My name is Kara and I  was born and raised right here in Round Rock Texas. I value putting others before myself and am lucky to be here at PFD where it’s a common goal. When I’m not at the office I enjoy spending time with my little family, Julian and our son Jasper. You can always catch us at a football game or the movies!

 

 

Monica Behr – Scheduling Coordinator

Hi! My name is Monica and I am originally from Atlanta and happy to now call Austin, Texas my home. I love helping patients and love seeing the confidence PFD allows them to have after visiting with us. When I’m not working at PFD, I am at home working on cakes, playing with my dog, Jax, or cheering on the Dallas Stars.
